The Golden Mile as it is called, my panoramic drawing looking down Oxford Street with the top of the Anzac War Memorial being the eyeline and vanishing point. The rainbow crossing was a protest movement that emerged in Sydney in 2013. The rainbow crossings painted at Taylor Square that year was an instant success. Later that year it was removed because of safety concerns and this immediately started a campaign encouraging people to get chalking rainbow crossings all over Sydney. Feb. 2019 a permanent colourful crossing popped up on the corner of Bourke and Campell streets.
